    Description

Exceptional large Sandstone Mano Stone from West Texas.
This piece is a personal find and found in West Texas in an Indian encampment. Extremely nice specimen. It is a survivor. Very large. 6 1/2" x 5 1/2" x 1 1/2" thick. This mano stone is a personal find in a sandy stretch of cotton fields. Ancient encampments were thus covered with blowing sand and creation of sand hills now changed and covered with cotton. Tools and other items from the underlying encampments are churned up and broken through years of deep plowing. This scarred one survived somehow.
