    Description

    Up for bid is a fine little art nouveau sterling dish with grape vine decoration by Whiting, dated 1907.  The piece is about 3/4 inch tall at the back by 4 1/2 inches long by 3 inches wide and weighs 32 grams.  It has a wavy border with grape bunches and leaves in relief as shown.  The piece has not been monogrammed.  The piece is marked with a Whiting trademark, “STERLING”, “7118”, “4 ½ IN.” and a date code for 1907.
    Condition on the piece is fairly good.  There are a few stubborn spots and normal wear.  A fine piece of Whiting silver!
